Great New Year celebrations 🥂🎉🇸🇬🎇 good music and live band with a magnificent firework display in front of Marina Bay Sands
Today we took the hop on/off bus 🚌 for a tour of the city. We travelled along the most exclusive Orchard Street with serious designer shops to seeing the oldest Roman Catholic Church ⛪️ nestled in amongst the skyscrapers 🏙️ calling into the botanical gardens 🪷 (unfortunately we just didn't have time to explore them)
We got off at the 5 feng shui styled towers known as Suntec City with its fountain of wealth. We experienced a shopping mall that took our breath away, we have never seen so many designer shops and eateries floor after floor with children's designer shops taking a whole floor of its own! The malls cater for kids really well with lots of fabulous activities, it is more like a day out of fun for them, the even have dedicated children's hairdressers
Tonight, (thanks to Wendy Boneham for the intro), we are off on a "Get Your Guide" river and light show tour, ⛵️ followed by supper at a hawker street food centre so we shall share some photos and pictures tomorrow
